Tropical Tree Day Planting 2000 Trees

Hi Tree Planters,

We need all the volunteers we can muster this Sunday to plant the next 2000 trees!

This will be our last tree planting for the year followed by our AGM BBQ & the debut of our Biodiversity Fund video starring you all.

Rain or shine we will be starting at 3pm for tree planters (or earlier for tough nuts to help set up and put out trees).

Wear a Tropical Shirt for our Tropical Tree Day photo, with prizes for the best, sunscreen, covered shoes, gloves & bring water (& named shovel & wheelbarrow if you have one).

Directions: Follow the signs just south of Fishery Falls…watch for trains & locos!

This project is a partnership between Mulgrave Landcare and Greening Australia, supported by the Australian Government Reef Trust and Accor Hotels. It is part of Greening Australia’s Reef Aid program to improve water quality on the Great Barrier Reef, and Mulgrave Landcare’s core business of connecting biodiversity corridors throughout the Mulgrave Catchment.

See you there 😊
