Corridors Tree Planting no.4 & AGM – Figtree Lagoon, Sunday Dec 8, 3pm

Hi Mulgrave Landcare Volunteers,

Tropical Tree Day so wear your tropical gear.

Remember all that tree planting we did at Figtree Lagoon on the Parisi farm? Hard work but now we have 7000 well established trees and a recently completed wetland!

This is the last tree planting of the year followed by the best little AGM in the north so don’t miss it.

Bring sun smart gear, covered shoes, gloves, water and a named shovel if you have one.

Access to this site is just south of Fishery Falls, on the left at the end of the double lines. Indicate early, slow right down (loose gravel) and be aware of the main railway and loco lines. Follow the signs.

P.S. Try to get there at 3pm because the trees can be planted very quickly by our very enthusiastic volunteers!

This project is a partnership between Mulgrave Landcare and Greening Australia, supported by the Australian Government Reef Trust and the Accor Hotel Group.

It is part of Greening Australia’s Reef Aid program to improve water quality on the Great Barrier Reef, and, Mulgrave Landcare’s core business of connecting biodiversity corridors throughout the Mulgrave Catchment.
